  • Make your own buttermilk: If you don't have buttermilk on hand, you can easily make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • Add a little kick: If you like a little spice in your ranch dressing, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder. You can also add a tablespoon of Sriracha or hot sauce.
  • Let it chill: Ranch dressing is best when it has had time to chill in the refrigerator. This allows the flavors to meld together. Be sure to give it at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Use it as a dip or dressing: Ranch dressing is a versatile condiment that can be used as a dip for vegetables, chips, or chicken wings. It can also be used as a dressing for salads or sandwiches.
