Tips:

  • Use fresh lemons: Fresh lemons provide the best flavor for these crisps. If you don't have fresh lemons, you can use bottled lemon juice, but the flavor will be less intense.
  • Grate the lemon zest finely: Grating the lemon zest finely will help to release its flavor and aroma. If you don't have a zester, you can use a microplane grater.
  • Use cold butter: Cold butter will help to create a flaky crust. If you use melted butter, the crust will be more dense.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough before baking will help to prevent it from spreading too much. If you don't have time to chill the dough, you can still bake it, but it may spread more.
  • Bake the crisps until they are golden brown: The crisps are done baking when they are golden brown around the edges. If you take them out of the oven too early, they will be soft and chewy. If you bake them too long, they will be hard and dry.

Conclusion:

These lemon crisps are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for a snack or dessert, and they can be made with just a few simple ingredients. With their bright lemon flavor and flaky crust, these crisps are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
