Steps:
- Heat the oven to 400°. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Cook the beef and garlic in the skillet over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is brown; drain.
- Stir the Italian seasoning and spaghetti sauce into the beef. Spread 1/4 cup of the beef mixture in the ungreased square pan.
- Top with 2 noodles, placing them so they do not overlap or touch the sides of the pan because they will expand as they bake. Spread about 1/2 cup of the remaining beef mixture over the noodles.
- Spread about 1/2 cup of the cottage cheese over the beef mixture. Sprinkle with about 1/3 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layering twice more, beginning with 2 more noodles and following directions in steps 3 and 4 Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake 30 minutes. Carefully remove the foil, and continue baking about 10 minutes longer or until lasagna is bubbly around the edges and looks very hot. Let stand 10 minutes, so the lasagna will become easier to cut and serve.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better your lasagna will taste. This is especially true for the vegetables and herbs.
- Don't overcook the noodles: Cook the noodles according to the package directions, but be careful not to overcook them. Overcooked noodles will be mushy and ruin the texture of your lasagna.
- Use a good quality cheese: The cheese is one of the most important ingredients in lasagna, so it's worth it to spend a little extra money on a good quality cheese.
- Layer the lasagna correctly: When you're assembling the lasagna, be sure to layer the ingredients in the correct order. The bottom layer should be the noodles, followed by the sauce, then the cheese, and then the vegetables. Repeat these layers until you've used up all of the ingredients.
- Bake the lasagna until it's golden brown: Bake the lasagna in a preheated oven until it's golden brown and bubbly. This will take about 30 minutes.
- Let the lasagna rest before serving: Once the lasagna is baked, let it rest for 10-15 minutes before serving. This will allow the lasagna to set and make it easier to cut.
Conclusion:
Egg noodle lasagna is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that's perfect for any occasion. With its simple ingredients and rich flavor, it's sure to be a hit with everyone at your table. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give this egg noodle lasagna a try. You won't be disappointed!
