4 bone-in chicken thighs (about 1-1/2 pounds), skin removed
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

flour to coat
dash(es) salt and pepper
2 c apple juice
1 medium white or red onion
1 medium apple
1 Tbsp butter

Steps:

  • 1. Slice onion and apple thinly. Satue in butter for 5 min on a md heat. Coat chicken in flour and add to pan. Add Apple juice and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer until juice has thickened to a nice sauce and chicken is cooked though. Be sure to turn chicken several times to cook fully.
  • 2. This is really good with white or wild rice.
