1 c semi sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cover a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil, shiny side up. Spray with cooking spray to cover.

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 bag snyder's of hanover square shaped butter pretzels
1 bag rolo ( chocolate covered caramel candies)
1 bag pecan halves

Steps:

  • 1. Unwrap Rolo candies and place in bowl for later.
  • 2. Arrange the pretzels in a single layer on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Place one chocolate covered caramel candy on each pretzel.
  • 3. Bake on 300 degrees for 5 minutes. Place in oven to soften rolos, approximately 5 minutes. Check occassionally, don't let them melt.
  • 4. Take out of oven.
  • 5. Push a pecan half on top of each rolo
  • 6. Set in a cool area or fridge to harden.
  • 7. Remove from fridge and store in bag or container.
  • 8. ENJOY

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the turtles will taste. Use real butter, pure vanilla extract, and semisweet chocolate chips.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the turtles tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will help the turtles hold their shape better in the oven.
  • Bake the turtles until they are just set: Overbaking the turtles will make them dry. Bake them just until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
  • Let the turtles cool completely before dipping them in chocolate: This will help the chocolate set properly.
  • Use a variety of toppings: You can use chopped nuts, sprinkles, or even crushed candy bars to decorate the turtles.

Conclusion:

These quick and easy turtles are the perfect sweet treat for any occasion. They're easy to make, delicious, and always a hit with kids and adults alike. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dessert, give these turtles a try. You won't be disappointed!
