QUICK AND EASY BAKED PORK CHOPS

Quick and Easy Baked Pork Chops image

This recipe only requires 4 ingredients (besides the pork chops), and it is super easy and fast to make...not to mention melt-in-your-mouth yummy!

Provided by Sable3569

Categories     Pork

Time 40m

Yield 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

5 -6 pork chops (I use bone-in 1/2 - 3/4-inch thick cuts)
1/4 cup ranch dressing (I used Hidden Valley)
3/4 cup breadcrumbs (I use Progresso Garlic and Herb)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • In a glass dish, coat the pork chops with the Ranch Dressing and allow to marinate for about 15 minutes.
  • In a separate shallow dish, mix the remaining ingredients.
  • Dredge each pork chop in the bread crumb mixture one by one.
  • Place the pork chops on a metal rack and place on top of a cookie sheet.
  • Bake for about 18-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Tips:

  • For a more flavorful experience, use bone-in pork chops. The bones add richness and depth of flavor to the meat.
  • Make sure your pork chops are at room temperature before cooking. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Season the pork chops liberally with salt and pepper. You can also add other spices and herbs, such as garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or cumin.
  • Sear the pork chops in a hot skillet for a few minutes per side. This will create a nice crust and help to lock in the juices.
  • Transfer the pork chops to a baking dish and bake them at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
  • Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat.

Conclusion:

These baked pork chops are a quick and easy weeknight meal that is sure to please the whole family. They are juicy, flavorful, and versatile. You can serve them with a variety of sides, such as mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
