Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start baking, gather and measure all of your ingredients. This will help you stay organized and ensure that you don't forget anything.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your coffee ring will taste. If possible, use organic and locally-sourced ingredients.
  • Don't Overmix the Dough: Overmixing the dough will make it tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the Dough: Chilling the dough before baking will help it to rise and hold its shape.
  • Grease the Pan Generously: Make sure to grease the pan generously to prevent the coffee ring from sticking.
  • Bake the Coffee Ring Until Golden Brown: The coffee ring is done baking when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
