You'll want to double the recipe, or you can cut the rolls in half for a smaller serving size. 1/2 lb imported prosciutto, sliced thick enough so it holds together when laid out
1/2 cup boursin cheese (available in dairy section or see below)

Steps:

  • Put chilled asparagus spears on kitchen towels to absorb any moisture. Place one or two asparagus spears in each slice of prosciutto and roll. Refrigerate if not serving immediately.

Tips for Making Perfect Prosciutto Recipes and Appetizers:

  • Choose high-quality prosciutto: Look for prosciutto that is thinly sliced, evenly cured, and has a delicate flavor. Avoid prosciutto that is too thick or dry.
  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better your prosciutto recipes will taste. Use ripe fruit, crisp vegetables, and flavorful cheese.
  • Don't overcook the prosciutto: Prosciutto is a delicate meat that can easily become tough if it is overcooked. Cook it just until it is heated through, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Be creative with your recipes: There are endless possibilities when it comes to prosciutto recipes. Get creative and experiment with different flavors and ingredients. You can use prosciutto to make everything from appetizers to main courses to desserts.

Conclusion:

Prosciutto is a versatile and delicious ingredient that can be used to create a wide variety of appetizers, snacks, and main courses. With its salty, savory flavor, prosciutto pairs well with a variety of other foods, including fruit, cheese, vegetables, and nuts. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy appetizer or a more elaborate main course, there is a prosciutto recipe out there for you. So get creative and start experimenting with this delicious Italian ham.
