PROSCIUTTO PESTO PIZZA

Prosciutto Pesto Pizza image

I developed this prosciutto pesto pizza for my young grandson who hasn't acquired a taste for veggies yet. He scarfs it up and doesn't even notice the edamame. It's also a hit with my other grandkids and nieces-not to mention all of their parents! -Don Manzagol, Campbell, California

PROSCIUTTO PESTO PIZZA

Prosciutto Pesto Pizza image

This is an original recipe that combines many of my favorite flavors. The saltiness from the proscuitto and pesto combined with the sweet sundried tomatoes is a little party in your mouth with each bite. Hubby asks for this once a week...and it never gets old. Leftovers are great too...if you have any!

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the quality of your ingredients, the better your pizza will taste. Look for fresh, flavorful tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and pesto. You can also use a variety of other toppings, such as grilled chicken, roasted vegetables, or fresh herbs.
  • Make your own dough: If you have the time, making your own dough is a great way to get a delicious, fresh-baked pizza. There are many different recipes available online, so you can find one that suits your needs. However, if you're short on time, you can also use store-bought dough.
  • Cook your pizza at a high temperature: The higher the temperature, the crispier your pizza will be. If you're using a pizza oven, cook your pizza at the highest temperature possible. If you're using a regular oven, preheat the oven to the highest temperature possible before cooking your pizza.
  • Don't overcrowd your pizza: When you're adding toppings to your pizza, don't overcrowd it. Otherwise, the pizza will be soggy and the toppings won't cook evenly. A good rule of thumb is to use no more than two or three toppings per pizza.
  • Bake your pizza until the cheese is melted and bubbly: The cheese is one of the most important parts of a pizza, so make sure it's melted and bubbly before you take it out of the oven. This will ensure that the pizza is cooked through and that the cheese is gooey and delicious.

Conclusion:

Prosciutto pesto pizza is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that's perfect for any occasion. With its flavorful combination of prosciutto, pesto, and mozzarella cheese, this pizza is sure to be a hit with everyone. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give prosciutto pesto pizza a try. You won't be disappointed!
