Tips:

  • Choose a high-quality cut of prime rib: Look for a roast that is well-marbled and has a good amount of fat. This will help keep the meat moist and flavorful during cooking.
  • Season the prime rib generously: Use a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. You can also add other herbs and spices to your liking.
  • Roast the prime rib at a low temperature: This will help the meat cook evenly and prevent it from drying out. Aim for an internal temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, and 155 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-well.
  • Let the prime rib rest before carving: This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more tender and flavorful.
  • Serve the prime rib with your favorite sides: Some popular options include mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and Yorkshire pudding.
