Categories     Other Snacks

Number Of Ingredients 3

24 oz. white chocolate
2 cups chopped peanuts
2 cups salted broken pretzel sticks

Steps:

  • 1. Melt chocolate in double boiler. As soon as it melts-add other ingredients. After candy cools-spoon drop onto wax paper.

Tips:

  • Use fresh pretzels. Fresh pretzels are softer and more flavorful than stale pretzels. If you can't find fresh pretzels, you can make your own using a pretzel recipe.
  • Break the pretzels into small pieces. This will help them to coat evenly with the candy mixture.
  • Use a candy thermometer. A candy thermometer is essential for making sure that the candy mixture reaches the correct temperature. If the candy mixture gets too hot, it will burn and become bitter. If it doesn't get hot enough, it will not set properly.
  • Be careful when dipping the pretzels into the hot candy mixture. The mixture can be very hot and can cause burns.
  • Let the pretzels cool completely before storing them. This will help them to set properly.

Conclusion:

Chocolate-covered pretzels are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or a sweet snack. With so many different variations, there is sure to be a chocolate-covered pretzel recipe that everyone will enjoy.
