Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line parchment paper on a large cookie sheet. I use my 1/2 sheet cake pan. Pour onto parchment the pecans and cereal. Mix well with your hands. In a small saucepan, mix brown sugar, praline mix, and butter. Gently boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda until foamy. Pour over cereal/pecans and stir to coat well. Bake for 1 hour. (The recipe says to stir once during baking, but I have found to stir 2 or 3 times during baking process is best.) This recipe was taken directly from the praline bottle. This praline mix has many good recipes with it, i.e. Praline Cake, Whipped Topping, Southern Cappuccino, Cafe' Royale, Sweet Potatoes, etc. This bottle of mix lasts a long while. This is my 3rd Christmas on this particular bottle. NOTE: I do have the address, online site and 800 phone # if you would like it.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh popcorn, nuts, and pretzels will give your party mix the best flavor.
- Don't overcrowd the pan: When you're making the caramel, don't overcrowd the pan or the sugar won't caramelize properly.
- Use a candy thermometer: A candy thermometer is the best way to ensure that the caramel reaches the correct temperature.
- Stir constantly: Stir the caramel constantly to prevent it from burning.
- Let the caramel cool slightly before adding the nuts and pretzels: This will help to prevent the caramel from becoming too hard.
- Spread the party mix out on a baking sheet to cool: This will help to prevent it from clumping together.
- Store the party mix in an airtight container: This will help to keep it fresh and prevent it from becoming stale.
Conclusion:
Praline party mix is a delicious and easy-to-make snack that is perfect for any occasion. It's a great way to use up leftover popcorn, nuts, and pretzels, and it's also a fun activity to do with kids. So next time you're looking for a sweet and salty snack, give praline party mix a try!
