2 cups packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecan halves (5 1/2 oz)

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor. Semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips are good options.
  • If you don't have a candy thermometer, you can check the temperature of the sugar mixture by dropping a small amount into a glass of cold water. If the mixture forms a hard ball, it is ready.
  • Be careful not to overmix the cookie dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaking will make the cookies dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before storing them. This will help them keep their shape and prevent them from becoming sticky.

Conclusion:

Praline crunch cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. With their buttery, crunchy, and sweet flavor, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone. Whether you're looking for a snack, a dessert, or a gift, praline crunch cookies are the perfect choice.
