2 pounds boneless chicken breasts
water to cover
2 (1.5 ounce) packages potato chips, crushed
½ cup butter
1 yellow onion, diced
1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 (8 ounce) package American cheese slices

  • Place chicken breasts in a large pot; add enough water to cover.
