"STOVE TOP" BBQ (BEEF OR PORK RIBS)
This recipe is from the Paula Deen cooking show on the TV Food Network. Originally shown for beef short ribs only, I have found it works as well with pork ribs. I have increased the amount of sauce ingredients - the original amounts didn't seem to be quite enough to really enjoy!

Tips:
- Choose the right cut of meat: Pork shoulder (also known as pork butt) or beef chuck roast are great choices for barbecue, as they are tough cuts that become tender when cooked slowly.
- Use a good quality barbecue sauce: The sauce is what gives barbecue its flavor, so don't skimp on quality. Look for a sauce that is thick and flavorful, with a good balance of sweet and tangy.
- Cook the meat low and slow: The key to tender, juicy barbecue is to cook it low and slow. This allows the collagen in the meat to break down, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
- Don't overcook the meat: Overcooked barbecue is tough and dry. Cook the meat until it is just tender, then remove it from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve barbecue with your favorite sides: Classic barbecue sides include coleslaw, potato salad, and baked beans. You can also serve it with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
Conclusion:
Barbecue is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether you prefer pork or beef, there is a barbecue recipe out there for everyone. With a little planning and effort, you can create a mouthwatering barbecue feast that will impress your friends and family. So fire up the grill and get cooking!
