Tips:

  • To ensure the pork chops are cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check that they have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can also check for doneness by cutting into the thickest part of the chop. The meat should be cooked through with no pink in the center.
  • For a crispier crust on the pork chops, sear them in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side before reducing the heat to medium and continuing to cook.
  • Be sure to use a good quality apple for this recipe. A firm, tart apple like a Granny Smith or Honeycrisp will hold its shape and provide a nice contrast to the sweet cinnamon sauce.
  • If you don't have apple cider, you can substitute chicken broth or water.
  • This dish can be served with a variety of sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or rice.

Conclusion:

Pork loin chops with cinnamon apples is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The pork chops are tender and juicy, and the cinnamon apples add a sweet and savory flavor. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
