2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pound pork loin, cut into 1 inch cubes
3 onions, sliced
1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, sliced
4 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups milk
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add pork and onions; cook until evenly browned. Add mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes. Remove pork and vegetables and place on a side dish.
  • Return pan to heat, add butter and stir until melted. Add flour; stir constantly until a paste forms. Slowly add milk and stir until gravy thickens. 4 slices onion
4 slices lemon
¼ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup ketchup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place chops in a 9x13 inch baking dish and top each one with an onion slice and a lemon slice. Add 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 tablespoon ketchup on top of each pork chop.

3 lbs thick pork chops
1 onion, cut into thin slices
1 lemon, cut in thin slices
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Season pork chops with salt and place in large baking dish.
  • Top each pork chop with an onion slice and a lemon slice.
  • Mix brown sugar and ketchup; spoon a couple of tablespoons over each chop.
  • Cover and bake 1 hour.
  • Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer, basting occasionally.

4 Tbsp canola oil
4 medium center cut porkchops
2 Tbsp djohn mustard
1 tsp season all
1/2 tsp each of garlic powder and onion powder
pepper to taste
1 c panko bread crumbs
1/2 c flour
1 large egg
1 small onion
1 pkg pork gravy mixed with 1 cup water
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup

Steps:

  • 1. Trim fat from chops. Mix egg and milk together until blended. In one plate put in the flour, and put the panko crumbs in another plate. Spread the mustard on both sides of the chops and season well with seasonings. Dredge chops in flour and then dip them in the milk and egg and then coat them with the Panko crumbs. Heat canola oil in a large skillet until hot. Quickly brown the chops in the hot oil...While you are browning the chops, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Drain chops and put into a 9x14 inch baking pan. Slice an onion really thin over the tops of the chops. Mix the soup and gravy together and pour over the top. Bake for about an hour. I made this last night for dinner and forgot to take a picture.
