Tips:

  • Prep your ingredients in advance: Cut the pork, tofu, and vegetables into uniform pieces before you start cooking. This will help ensure that everything cooks evenly.
  • Use a well-seasoned wok or large skillet: A well-seasoned wok or large skillet will help prevent the food from sticking and will distribute the heat evenly.
  • Cook the pork in batches: If you're using a small wok or skillet, cook the pork in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. This will help ensure that the pork gets evenly cooked.
  • Don't overcook the tofu: Tofu is a delicate ingredient that can easily be overcooked. Cook it just until it is heated through and slightly browned.
  • Add the vegetables in stages: Add the vegetables to the wok or skillet in stages, starting with the vegetables that take the longest to cook. This will help ensure that all of the vegetables are cooked evenly.
  • Use a sauce that you enjoy: There are many different sauces that you can use for this stir-fry. Choose one that you and your family will enjoy.
