HAM LOAF WITH MARMALADE-MUSTARD GLAZE
I just purchase one whole block of smoked ham at the deli and chop it in my processor, or you can use leftover cooked ham from a previous meal, I suggest to not add in any salt until the very end as the cooked ham already has a high salt content, or add it on at the table. This glaze recipe is also good on your cooked hams.

PORK LOAF
This is a new-wave meatloaf! I just purchase a 1-pound piece of smoked ham at the deli department for this and chop it finely on my processor, any brand will do as long as it is a smoke flavor ham, or save some of your cooked leftover ham to make this! I have made it two times in one month, including today, and has become a favorite of my familys. You can use regular saltine crackers for this in place of whole wheat crackers, and red bell pepper can be substituted for green, or use both!

MUSTARD-GLAZED HAM
MY MOM was known as the best cook in the country. This delicious glaze was in her collection of handwritten recipes. I laminated the ones I use most often, and this favorite was included. It's easy to prepare, and everyone seems to like ham made this way. -Dorothy Smith, El Dorado, Arkansas

HAM LOAF
"I COPIED this recipe exactly the way Grandma has written it in her worn cookbook. The only difference today is that I can't get home-smoked ham like those Grandpa used to cure in his old-fashioned smokehouse. But that never matters to hungry folks at the table-Grandma's recipe is a winner every time!"

Tips:
- Choose the right meat: A combination of ground pork and ground ham is ideal for this recipe, as it provides a good balance of flavor and texture. You can also use all pork or all ham, but the flavor will be slightly different.
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh herbs, spices, and vegetables will give your meatloaf the best flavor. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but be sure to use half the amount.
- Don't overmix the meat: Overmixing the meat will make the meatloaf tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
- Shape the meatloaf firmly: A firmly shaped meatloaf will hold together better during baking. Use your hands to shape the meatloaf into a loaf shape and then press it firmly into the baking dish.
- Bake the meatloaf at the right temperature: The ideal temperature for baking meatloaf is 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This will help to ensure that the meatloaf cooks evenly throughout.
- Let the meatloaf rest before slicing: Letting the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing will help to keep the juices in the meatloaf and prevent it from falling apart.
Conclusion:
Pork and ham meatloaf with marmalade mustard glaze is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The combination of pork and ham gives the meatloaf a rich flavor, while the marmalade mustard glaze adds a sweet and tangy touch. This meatloaf is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
