4 cups dry bread crumbs
⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon celery salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon minced garlic
¼ teaspoon minced onion
1 pinch dried basil leaves
1 pinch dried parsley
1 pinch dried oregano

Steps:

1 cup all-bran cereal, crushed
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
1 teaspoon season pepper
1 teaspoon curry (or more)
1 teaspoon sweet basil
1 teaspoon oregano

Steps:

  • Mix the flour, cayenne pepper, all-bran cereal, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, taco seasoning, season pepper, curry, basil and oregano together. I use a large size zipper plastic bag and keep it in the freezer.
  • Use for coating any and all types of meat.
  • You can add more of the cayenne and chili powder if you so desire. I usually just throw in what I have at the time I make it so it is never the same twice.

  • In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in water and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. 1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups raisins
2 cups water
¾ cup shortening
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cloves
3 cups all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  • In a saucepan mix brown sugar, raisins, water and shortening. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
