Tips:
- Choose affordable cuts of meat: Opt for less expensive cuts like chuck roast, pork shoulder, or chicken thighs. These cuts are often tougher, but they become tender when cooked slowly in a flavorful liquid.

- Utilize vegetables in season: Vegetables that are in season are typically more affordable and flavorful. Look for seasonal produce at your local farmers market or grocery store.
- Make use of leftovers: Leftovers can be transformed into new meals. For example, leftover roasted chicken can be used in a chicken salad or soup. Leftover rice can be used in a stir-fry or fried rice dish.
- Cook in bulk: Cooking in bulk can save you time and money in the long run. When you cook a large batch of a dish, you can freeze the leftovers for future meals.
