Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 1/2 c pear nectar
1/2 c pomegranate juice
2 c prosecco, chilled
pomegranate seeds
4 champagne flutes

Steps:

  • 1. In a large pitcher, mix together pear nectar, pomegranate juice and prosecco. Place pomegrante seeds evenly in the bottom of the 4 champagne flutes. Fill each glass with the cocktail and serve.
  • 2. Prosecco is a sparkling, dry, white Italian wine.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe pomegranates: Look for pomegranates that are heavy for their size and have a deep red color. Avoid pomegranates that have blemishes or cracks.
  • De-seed the pomegranates carefully: There are a few different ways to de-seed pomegranates. One way is to cut the pomegranate in half and then hold it over a bowl of water. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds. Another way is to score the pomegranate all around the equator and then break it apart. You can then use your fingers to remove the seeds.
  • Make the pomegranate syrup ahead of time: The pomegranate syrup can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. Simply store it in a jar in the refrigerator.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the cocktail to your liking: The amount of pomegranate syrup you add to the cocktail will determine how sweet it is. Start with a small amount and add more to taste.
  • Garnish the cocktail with a few pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary: This will add a festive touch to your cocktail.

Conclusion:

The pomegranate prosecco cocktail is a refreshing and festive drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you are looking for a delicious and unique cocktail, give the pomegranate prosecco cocktail a try!
