2 cups large dark seedless grapes, halved
1/2 cup chopped red onion

Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe pomegranates: The fresher the pomegranates, the better the salad will taste. Look for pomegranates that are heavy for their size and have a deep red color.
  • Be careful when deseeding the pomegranates: Pomegranate seeds can stain, so it's important to be careful when deseeding them. You can use a spoon to scoop out the seeds, or you can cut the pomegranate in half and then use your fingers to remove the seeds.
  • Make the salad ahead of time: This salad can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. This makes it a great option for busy weeknights or holiday parties.
  • Don't overdress the salad: A little bit of dressing goes a long way in this salad. Overdressing the salad will make it soggy and weigh it down.
  • Serve the salad chilled: This salad is best served chilled. You can chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving, or you can make it ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator overnight.

Conclusion:

This pomegranate holiday salad is a beautiful and delicious way to celebrate the holiday season. It's easy to make and can be made ahead of time, making it a great option for busy hosts. The salad is also a good source of vitamins and minerals, making it a healthy and festive addition to your holiday table.
