Tips:
- Choose the right steak: For this recipe, a flank steak or skirt steak is a good choice. These cuts are relatively thin and cook quickly, making them perfect for grilling.
- Marinate the steak: Marinating the steak in a flavorful mixture of olive oil, garlic, herbs, and spices will help to tenderize it and add flavor.
- Grill the steak over high heat: This will help to create a nice char on the outside of the steak while keeping the inside juicy and tender.
- Let the steak rest: After grilling, let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, making it more tender and flavorful.
- Make the crispy baked potato chips: To make the potato chips, simply slice potatoes thinly and toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Then, bake them in a preheated oven until they are crispy.
- Assemble the salad: To assemble the salad, simply combine the grilled steak, crispy potato chips, mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in a bowl. Then, toss the salad with the dressing of your choice.
Conclusion:
This pom-grilled steak salad with crispy baked potato chips is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a summer cookout or potluck. The steak is grilled to perfection and the crispy potato chips add a nice crunch. The salad is also very flavorful, thanks to the combination of the sweet pomegranate dressing and the tangy cherry tomatoes and cucumber. This recipe is also very versatile. You can use any type of steak that you like, and you can also change up the vegetables in the salad. You can also adjust the amount of dressing that you use, depending on your taste.
