Categories     Steak

Time 35m

Yield 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/3 cup pineapple juice
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup green onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced peeled
1 tablespoon honey
1 garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 lbs flank steaks
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Combine first 6 ingredients in a large zip-top bag; add steak to bag. Seal and marinate in refrigerator 3 hours, turning once.
  • Prepare grill.
  • Remove steak from bag, reserving marinade. Place steak on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 20 minutes or until desired degree of doneness, turing and basting frequently with the reserved marinade. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting diagonally across the grain into thin slices.

Tips:

  • Choose the right meat: For the best flavor, use high-quality meat that is well-marinated and seasoned.
  • Cook the meat properly: Overcooked meat will be tough and dry, so cook it to the desired doneness using a meat thermometer.
  • Use fresh vegetables: Fresh vegetables will add flavor and crunch to your stack-ups. Try using a variety of vegetables, such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers.
  • Make your own sauce: A homemade sauce will add a unique flavor to your stack-ups. Try making a teriyaki sauce, a sweet and sour sauce, or a Polynesian sauce.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment: There are many different ways to make stack-ups, so feel free to experiment with different ingredients and flavors to find your favorite combination.

Conclusion:

Polynesian stack-ups are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With a variety of meats, vegetables, and sauces to choose from, there are endless possibilities for creating your own unique stack-up. So next time you're looking for a quick and tasty meal, give Polynesian stack-ups a try. You won't be disappointed!
