Tips:

  • Choose ripe pineapple: Look for a pineapple that is golden yellow in color and has a sweet, fragrant aroma. Avoid pineapples that have green or brown spots, as these may be unripe or overripe.
  • Use fresh pineapple juice: Fresh pineapple juice adds a bright, tropical flavor to the dish. You can use store-bought pineapple juice, but be sure to choose one that is unsweetened and 100% pineapple juice.
  • Marinate the turkey in advance: Marinating the turkey in the pineapple juice and soy sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight, will help to tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
  • Use a large skillet or wok: A large skillet or wok will allow you to easily stir-fry the turkey and vegetables. If you don't have a large skillet or wok, you can use a regular skillet and cook the turkey and vegetables in batches.
  • Cook the turkey and vegetables over high heat: High heat will help to quickly cook the turkey and vegetables and prevent them from becoming soggy. Be sure to stir the turkey and vegetables constantly so that they cook evenly.
  • Add the sauce at the end of cooking: Adding the sauce at the end of cooking will help to prevent it from burning. Be sure to stir the sauce well to coat the turkey and vegetables.
  • Serve immediately: Polynesian Pineapple Turkey and Noodles is best served immediately, while the turkey is still hot and the vegetables are still crisp.
