1/2 cup boiling water
2 teaspoons plus 2 tablespoons butter

1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

I made this for Easter with a 1.5 lb. ham (adjusting the recipe) and it was the hit of the night! I was told by my friend who doesn't like ham that this was the best ham he'd ever had in his life and the 1st time he ever went for seconds.

6 lbs semi-boneless cooked ham
6 pineapple rings (or more)
1 1/2 cups ginger ale
6 maraschino cherries (or more)
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 cup brown sugar
whole cloves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Score ham.
  • Place pineapple rings and cherries on ham, fastening with wooden picks and pierce with cloves.
  • Put ham in a baking pan and pour ginger ale over it.

2 large onions, sliced
1 (16 ounce) jar dill pickle slices
2 tablespoons butter

1 cube beef bouillon
