Time 1h10m

Yield 12 cups, 12 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 family-size tea bags, like luzianne
4 cups boiling water
12 mint leaves (optional)
1/2 cup sugar (or 3/4 cup Splenda)
1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, prepared according to directions on the can
1 (12 ounce) can pineapple juice

Steps:

  • Pour 4 cups boiling water over tea bags, mint, and sugar in a pitcher.
  • Steep for 30 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and mint.
  • Add prepared lemonade to tea.
  • Add pineapple juice and stir.
  • Refrigerate and serve over ice.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality tea leaves. This will ensure that your iced tea has the best possible flavor.
  • Steep the tea leaves for the correct amount of time. If you steep the leaves for too long, the tea will become bitter.
  • Sweeten the tea to taste. You can use sugar, honey, or another sweetener.
  • Add flavorings, such as lemon, mint, or fruit, to taste.
  • Serve the iced tea over ice. You can also garnish it with a lemon wedge or a sprig of mint.
  • The ratio of tea leaves to water is important. Too much tea or too little water will result in a weak or bitter brew.
  • Let the tea cool completely before serving. This will help to preserve the flavor.
  • Iced tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

Plantation iced tea is a refreshing and delicious beverage that can be enjoyed all year long. With a few simple tips, you can make the perfect iced tea at home. So next time you're looking for a refreshing drink, reach for a glass of plantation iced tea.
