Tips:

  • Choose the right ground beef: Opt for a blend of chuck and sirloin for a juicy and flavorful burger.
  • Season the beef properly: Use a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika for a classic burger flavor.
  • Form the patties gently: Handle the beef mixture gently to avoid compacting it, resulting in tough burgers.
  • Don't overwork the beef: Mix the ingredients just until combined to maintain the burger's tenderness.
  • Create a well in the center of each patty: This will help prevent the burgers from puffing up in the middle while cooking.
  • Cook the burgers over medium-high heat: This will create a nice crust on the outside while keeping the inside juicy.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking: Aim for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for medium-rare burgers, 165°F (74°C) for medium burgers, and 170°F (77°C) for well-done burgers.
