STUFFED PIZZA BURGERS
This is my version of a pizza burger. Adding the pizza sauce to the meat keeps the burger moist and gives it a real pizza taste. My sauce is simple, no precooking needed (I like the fresh tomato taste). Hope you try it!

Steps:
- 1. Mix the ground beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder and set aside. Mix the pepperoni and Cheddar cheese together and set aside at room temp for 30 minutes.
- 2. Shape half the burger into 4 patties. Roll the Cheddar cheese/pepperoni mixtures into balls. Place a ball onto each patty. With the remaining ground beef top each patty with another patty and seal the edges around the ball of and pepperoni.
- 3. Heat a cast iron skillet and add a little oil. Sear the patties on one side and flip. Brush pizza sauce over each burger. Cover the pan. Turn the patties and brush with more pizza sauce. Cover. Repeat turning and brushing with pizza sauce about 4 more times. Top each burger with Parmesan cheese. Cover and let cheese melt. Place on burger bun topped with a slice of tomato. Serve
Tips:
- Use a quality ground beef. The better the quality of the beef, the better the burgers will be. Look for ground beef that is at least 80% lean.
- Season the beef well. Don't be afraid to use plenty of salt and pepper. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or chili powder.
- Mix the beef gently. Over-mixing the beef will make the burgers tough. Just mix the beef until the ingredients are combined.
- Form the burgers into patties. Make the patties about 1/2-inch thick and 4 inches in diameter. Don't press down on the burgers too hard, or they will be dry.
- Cook the burgers over medium heat. This will help to prevent the burgers from drying out. Cook the burgers for about 4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
- Top the burgers with your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings include cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
- Serve the burgers immediately. Pizza stuffed burgers are best when served hot off the grill.
Conclusion:
Pizza stuffed burgers are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for any occasion. They are sure to be a hit with your family and friends. So next time you're looking for a new burger recipe, give pizza stuffed burgers a try.
