Tips:

  • Do not overmix the cake batter. Overmixing can make the cake tough.
  • Bake the cake in a preheated oven. This will help to ensure that the cake rises evenly.
  • Do not open the oven door during the first 30 minutes of baking. This can cause the cake to fall.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • If you are using a store-bought frosting, be sure to let it come to room temperature before using it. This will make it easier to spread.
  • To make the bubble effect, use a piping bag fitted with a star tip to pipe the frosting onto the cake. Hold the piping bag perpendicular to the cake and pipe small circles, starting from the center and working your way out.
  • To make the pizza toppings, use your favorite ingredients. Some popular options include pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers.
