PIQUANT SAUCE
This is great on grilled chicken. Also great on leftover baked chicken reheated in the oven. (Original recipe posted said 14 teaspoons nutmeg...THIS IS WRONG! It should only be 1/4 teaspoon! Sorry! Thanks Lavender Lynn for pointing this out!)

Tips:
- Choose fresh cranberries: For the best flavor and texture, use fresh cranberries. Look for plump, firm berries that are deep red in color.
- Wash the cranberries thoroughly: Before using the cranberries, rinse them thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or debris.
- Use a food processor: A food processor makes quick work of chopping the cranberries and other ingredients. If you don't have a food processor, you can chop the ingredients by hand, but it will take a little longer.
- Add sugar to taste: The amount of sugar you add to the sauce is a matter of personal preference. Taste the sauce as you go and add more sugar, if desired.
- Let the sauce cool completely: Before serving, let the sauce cool completely. This will allow the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken.
Conclusion:
This piquant cranberry sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make condiment that is perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any other special occasion. The sauce has a sweet and tangy flavor with a hint of spice. It is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
