Tips:

  • Use fresh or frozen pineapple for the best flavor. If you're using frozen pineapple, thaw it completely before using.
  • Be sure to drain the pineapple well before adding it to the dough. This will prevent the cookies from being too wet.
  • If you don't have a star-shaped cookie cutter, you can use a round one. Just cut the circles in half and then press the edges together to form a star shape.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. The edges should be golden brown, but the centers should still be slightly soft.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them. This will help the frosting to set properly.
  • You can use any type of frosting you like for these cookies. Cream cheese frosting, buttercream frosting, and royal icing are all popular choices.

Conclusion:

These pineapple star cookies are a delicious and festive treat that are perfect for any occasion. They're easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal preferences. So next time you're looking for a sweet and flavorful cookie, give these pineapple star cookies a try!
