PINEAPPLE PUDDING PIE

I make this pie ahead of time so it can chill in the refrigerator before dinner. I sometimes make the crust from scratch but I recommend using a convenient store-bought crust when time is short.-Ron Gardner, Grand Haven, Michigan

BANANA-PINEAPPLE VANILLA PUDDING PIE

Banana-Pineapple Vanilla Pudding Pie image

My favorite dessert recipe. Pulled original recipe from one of those homemade cookbooks put together by my company years ago. Don't remember the original as I make it from memory now, but get so many compliments every time I make it. Warning: will satisfy that sweet tooth!

  • To make sure the pie crust is flaky, use cold butter and water.
  • Don't overmix the pie dough. Overmixing will make the dough tough.
  • Be sure to pre-bake the pie crust before filling it. This will help to prevent the crust from getting soggy.
