My family thought these steaks were so yummy. I thought the sauce was so easy to make. I got this recipe from Tops Market courtesy National Cattlemen's Beef Association.

2 beef steaks, cut 1-inch thick (filet mignon or sirloin steaks)
2 tablespoons steak sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon brown sugar

Steps:

  • Combine last 4 ingredients in microwave-safe bowl.
  • Microwave on high 2-3 minutes or until thickened.
  • Place steaks on hot grill, turning occasionally and brushing both sides with some of the glaze. Grill steaks 13-15 minutes.
  • Carve steaks; drizzle with remaining glaze.

2 beef ribeye steaks
1/4 c pineapple juice
1/4 c soy sauce
2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
1 tsp cornstarch

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients in 1 cup glass measure, microwave on high 2 1/2 to 3 min. or until thickened, stirring once. Place steaks on grid over med. ash covered coals, grill, uncovered 11 to 14 min. for med. rare to med. doneness, turning occassionaly. Brush both sides with some of the glaze during last 5 min. Carve steaks, drizzle with remaining glaze.
  • 2. TO BROIL: PLACE STEAKS ON RACK IN BROILER PAN SO SURFACE OF BEEF IS 3' TO 4' FROM HEAT. BROIL 14 TO 18 MIN. FOR MED. RARE TO MED. DONENESS, TURNING ONCE, BRUSH WITH SOME OF THE GLAZE DURING LAST 5 MIN.
