Yield 2 drinks

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 1/2 cup ice
1/2 cup diced pineapple, frozen
2 ounces pineapple juice
2 ounces Coco Lopez coconut cream
1 1/2 ounces white rum
1 ounce dark rum
Pineapple slices

Steps:

  • Put the ice, frozen pineapple, juice, coconut cream, and the white and dark rums into a blender. Blend until smooth and frosty. Pour the drink into 2 glasses and garnish the rim with pineapple slices.

Tips:

  • Use fresh pineapple juice. Fresh pineapple juice is the key to a great piña colada float. It provides a sweet and tangy flavor that can't be matched by bottled or canned juice.
  • Don't skimp on the coconut cream. Coconut cream is what gives a piña colada float its creamy texture. Use full-fat coconut cream for the richest flavor and texture.
  • Add a splash of rum. Rum is optional, but it adds a nice boozy flavor to a piña colada float. If you're using rum, be sure to use a light rum so that it doesn't overpower the other flavors.
  • Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry. This will make your piña colada float look as good as it tastes.

Conclusion:

A piña colada float is a delicious and refreshing drink that's perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So next time you're looking for a fun and festive drink, give the piña colada float a try!
