Steps:
- Cream together powdered sugar and butter with electric mixer. Add eggs, salt and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Spread mixture evenly into a baked pie shell. Chill Whip cream until stiff. Blend in 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Fold in pineapple and pecans. Spread this mixture on top of base mixture and chill thoroughly. Very good but make sure eggs are very fresh because they are not cooked.
Tips:
- For the best results, use high-quality ingredients. This means using real butter, not margarine, and using fresh eggs and milk.
- Be sure to measure your ingredients accurately. This is especially important for the crust, as too much or too little flour can make the crust tough or crumbly.
- When making the crust, be sure to work the butter and flour together until they resemble coarse crumbs. This will help to prevent the crust from becoming tough.
- When rolling out the dough, be sure to do so on a lightly floured surface. This will help to prevent the dough from sticking.
- Be sure to preheat your oven before baking the pie. This will help to ensure that the crust cooks evenly.
- When baking the pie, keep an eye on it so that you can remove it from the oven as soon as it is done. Overbaking the pie can make the crust dry and crumbly.
Conclusion:
Millionaire pie is a delicious and decadent dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its rich chocolate filling, creamy caramel layer, and flaky crust, this pie is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you are looking for a special dessert to make, give millionaire pie a try. You won't be disappointed!
