Tips:
- Choose the right peppers and onions. For a sweeter flavor, use bell peppers. For a spicier flavor, use poblano or jalapeño peppers. Yellow or white onions are best for this recipe.
- Slice the peppers and onions thinly. This will help them cook evenly.
- Cook the peppers and onions until they are tender but still have a little bit of crunch. You don't want them to be mushy.
- Use a good quality sausage. A spicy sausage will give the sandwiches a lot of flavor.
- Cook the sausage until it is browned and cooked through.
- Toast the buns before assembling the sandwiches. This will help them hold up better.
- Add your favorite toppings. Some popular options include cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles.

These peppers, onions, and sausage sandwiches are a delicious and easy meal that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are also a great way to use up leftover peppers and onions. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can make a meal that the whole family will love.
