Yield 1 loaf, 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 cups self-raising flour, sifted (see note)
1/2 cup fresh oregano, chopped (or 1/4 cup dried)
1 1/4 cups sour cream
1 tablespoon milk
250 g cream cheese

  • Place the bread on a lightly-greased (or lined) baking tray. Cut a few slits across the top of the dough and brush with extra beaten egg. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Tips for the Best Pepperoni Cheese Bread

  • To get the mozzarella cheese melted and bubbly, remember to cut it into small pieces.
  • To add an extra layer of flavor, you can brush the edges of the dough with melted garlic butter before baking. This will result in crispy, golden brown crust.
  • You can adjust the amount of pepperoni and cheese based on your preferences. For a more cheesy bread, add more mozzarella cheese. For a more pepperoni-forward bread, add more pepperoni slices.
  • If you're short on time, you can use a pre-made pizza dough. Just be sure to let it come to room temperature before using.
  • If you don't have a pizza stone, you can bake the pepperoni cheese bread on a regular baking sheet. Just be sure to preheat the baking sheet before adding the bread.
