PEPPERONI CHEESE BALL
We've never met a cheese ball recipe we didn't like and we absolutely loved this one. It's creamy with the spice from the pepperoni and saltiness of the cheddar cheese. Then there's a little tang from the pimentos. It's an awesome party appetizer. It would be perfect for football Sunday. Double the recipe and shape the cheese...

PEPPERONI PIZZA FOOTBALL CHEESE BALL
Found on Mom on Time Out blog, easy to make and looks so cute, a fun appetizer for football season, cook time is setting time, serving is just a guess. I printed the recipe as I found it, but I did make a minor change - didn't add the pepperoni to the cream cheese as felt it would be to much and did add a small amount of chopped jalapeno for a bit of a bite

Steps:
- Beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Beat in the Italian seasoning, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Mix in half of the pepperoni slices, green onions, bacon, and pimientos.
- Line a small bowl with plastic wrap. Spoon cheese mixture into bowl. Press mixture into bowl so that it takes on the shape of the bowl. Use the ends of the plastic wrap to wrap up the cheeseball firmly. Transfer the wrapped cheese ball to a cutting board and use your hands to shape it into a football.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 48 hours.
- Remove the cheese ball from the fridge and cover with remaining pepperoni, pressing gently to adhere.
- Serve with pretzels, bread sticks, crackers, and veggies.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese will yield the tastiest results.
- If you don't have time to make your own pizza dough, you can use a store-bought refrigerated pizza dough or even crescent roll dough.
- Be sure to let the dough rise according to the package directions before baking. This will help to ensure a light and fluffy crust.
- Don't overcrowd the pan. Bake the pizza balls in batches if necessary.
- Serve the pizza balls hot and fresh, with your favorite dipping sauce.
Conclusion:
These pepperoni cheese balls are a delicious and easy appetizer that are perfect for any occasion. They're sure to be a hit with your family and friends. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy snack or appetizer, give these pepperoni cheese balls a try. You won't be disappointed!
