  • Choosing the right cut of steak: Flat iron steak is a flavorful and affordable cut that is perfect for grilling. It is also a relatively lean cut, so it is important to not overcook it.
  • Preparing the rub: The peppercorn rub is what gives this steak its signature flavor. Be sure to use a variety of peppercorns, including black, white, and pink. You can also add other spices to the rub, such as garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Grilling the steak: When grilling the steak, be sure to cook it over medium-high heat. This will help to create a nice crust on the outside of the steak while keeping the inside juicy and tender.
  • Letting the steak rest: Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help to redistribute the juices throughout the steak and make it more tender.

The peppercorn rub gives the steak a bold and flavorful crust, while the grilling process infuses it with a smoky flavor. This steak is sure to be a hit with everyone at your table.
