Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use high-quality steak. Look for a steak that is well-marbled and has a good amount of fat.
  • Make sure to cut the steak against the grain. This will help to tenderize the meat and make it more flavorful.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the steak. This will cause the steak to steam instead of sear, resulting in a less flavorful steak.
  • Cook the steak to your desired doneness. For a medium-rare steak, cook for about 3-4 minutes per side. For a medium steak, cook for about 4-5 minutes per side. For a well-done steak, cook for about 5-6 minutes per side.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help to redistribute the juices and make the steak more tender.

Conclusion:

Pepper steak is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a flavorful and satisfying steak dinner that the whole family will enjoy. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give pepper steak a try. You won't be disappointed!
