Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure all your ingredients are prepped and measured, and your shrimp are deveined and peeled.
  • Use a large skillet: This will help to prevent the shrimp and vegetables from overcrowding and becoming soggy.
  • Cook the shrimp in batches: If you try to cook all the shrimp at once, they will not cook evenly.
  • Do not overcook the shrimp: Shrimp cooks very quickly, so be careful not to overcook them, or they will become tough and rubbery.
  • Add the vegetables towards the end of cooking: This will help to prevent them from becoming overcooked.
  • Use a flavorful sauce: The sauce is what will really make this dish shine, so be sure to use a sauce that you enjoy.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately, while the shrimp and vegetables are still hot and the sauce is still flavorful.

Conclusion:

This penne with shrimp and vegetables is a quick and easy weeknight meal that is sure to please the whole family. The shrimp are cooked to perfection, the vegetables are crisp-tender, and the sauce is flavorful and creamy. Serve this dish with a side of garlic bread or a salad for a complete meal.
