Tips:

  • Use quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the wafers will taste. Look for high-quality pecans, unsalted butter, and pure vanilla extract.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough helps the wafers hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the wafers until they are golden brown: The wafers should be a light golden brown color when they are done baking. If they are too pale, they will be soft and chewy. If they are too dark, they will be hard and brittle.
  • Let the wafers cool completely before storing: The wafers need to cool completely before they can be stored. Otherwise, they will be too fragile and may break.

Conclusion:

Pecan tea wafers are a delicious and easy-to-make cookie that is perfect for any occasion. They are crispy, buttery, and full of pecan flavor. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make these cookies at home in no time. So next time you are looking for a sweet treat, give pecan tea wafers a try!
