1/2 cup butter
2-1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup maple syrup

3 large eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons whiskey or bourbon, optional
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Optional: Whipped cream and ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 1/8-in.-thick circle; transfer to a 9-in. pie plate. Trim crust to 1/2 in. beyond rim of plate; flute edge.
