- Pour this filling on top of crust and cook for 50 to 60 minutes at 325 degrees Fahrenheit or until set.
Tips:
- Prep your ingredients: Before you start baking, measure and prep all your ingredients. This will help you stay organized and ensure you have everything you need.
- Use a quality pecan filling: The pecan filling is the heart of the cake roll, so it's important to use a good-quality filling. A homemade pecan filling is always best, but you can also use a store-bought filling if you're short on time.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the cake roll tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the cake roll carefully: The cake roll is thin, so it can easily overcook. Keep a close eye on it while it's baking.
- Roll the cake roll up while it's still warm: Once the cake roll is out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before rolling it up. This will help prevent the cake from cracking.
- Chill the cake roll before serving: Chilling the cake roll will help it set and make it easier to slice.
Conclusion:
This pecan pie cake roll is a delicious and impressive dessert that's perfect for any occasion. With its rich pecan filling and tender sponge cake, it's sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give this pecan pie cake roll a try. You won't be disappointed!
