Tips for Making the Best Peanutty Pork Stir-Fry:

  • Choose the Right Cut of Pork: Use a lean cut of pork, such as pork tenderloin or sirloin, for a stir-fry. These cuts will cook quickly and remain tender.
  • Marinate the Pork: Marinating the pork in a flavorful mixture of soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and rice wine for at least 30 minutes will tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
  • Use a Wok or Large Skillet: A wok or large skillet is ideal for stir-frying, as it allows for even cooking and prevents the food from overcrowding.
  • Heat the Wok or Skillet Over High Heat: The wok or skillet should be very hot before adding the ingredients. This will help to sear the meat and prevent it from sticking.
  • Cook the Pork in Batches: If you are cooking a large amount of pork, cook it in batches to prevent overcrowding and ensure that all of the pieces cook evenly.
  • Add the Vegetables Last: Add the vegetables to the wok or skillet after the pork has been cooked. This will prevent the vegetables from overcooking and becoming mushy.
  • Stir-Fry Quickly: Stir-fry the ingredients quickly, tossing them constantly, to ensure that they cook evenly and remain tender.
  • Serve Immediately: Serve the peanutty pork stir-fry immediately over rice or noodles. This dish is best enjoyed fresh.
