Categories     Chocolate

Yield 32 bars

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 (18 ounce) boxes devil's food cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
2/3 cup milk, cold
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 (7 ounce) jars marshmallow creme
1/2 cup salted peanuts
6 semi-sweet chocolate king squares, coarsely chopped, Baker's brand

Steps:

  • -Preheat oven to 350 degrees. -Mix dry cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup milk until blended; press 2/3 onto bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. -Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until center is almost set; cool 3 minutes. -Mix peanut butter and remaining milk; spread onto crust. -Top with spoonfuls of marshmallow creme and remaining cake mixture. -Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate; press gently into cake mixture. -Bake 18 minutes or just until center is set. -Cool before cutting

Tips:

  • Use fresh marshmallows. Fresh marshmallows will give your bars the best texture and flavor. If you use old marshmallows, they may be dry and crumbly, which will make your bars less enjoyable.
  • Don't overcook the peanuts. Overcooked peanuts will be tough and chewy. Cook them just until they are golden brown and香ばしい.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the pan. This will help to keep the bars together and prevent them from falling apart.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them. This will help to prevent them from crumbling.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature. They will keep for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

Peanut Mallow Bars are a classic dessert that is loved by people of all ages. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. Whether you like them gooey or chewy, with or without chocolate, Peanut Mallow Bars are sure to become a favorite in your home.
