MAPLE-PEANUT BUTTER SYRUP:
3 Tbsp peanut butter creamy or crunchy
1 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c maple-flavored syrup
PANCAKES:
2 c original bisquick mix
3/4 c milk
1/4 c maple-flavored syrup
2 large eggs
1/2 c real bacon pieces

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat griddle or to 350^ or heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Spray the one you are going to use.
  • 2. Sauce: Make this first and keep warm. In a small bowl, beat peanut butter and butter with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Beat in the syrup until well mixed. Set aside.
  • 3. Pancakes: In medium bowl, stir all pancake ingredients except bacon with a wire whisk or fork until blended. Stir in bacon. For each pancake, pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until edges are dry. Turn; cook other sides until golden brown. Serve with the syrup and some bacon pieces on top.

Tips:

  • Use creamy peanut butter: Creamy peanut butter will give you a smoother sauce than chunky peanut butter.
  • Don't overcook the sauce: The sauce should only be cooked until it is slightly thickened and bubbly.
  • Add a little bit of salt: A pinch of salt will help to balance out the sweetness of the sauce.
  • Serve immediately: Peanut butter sauce is best served immediately after it is made.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator: Peanut butter sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

Peanut butter maple syrup sauce is a delicious and versatile sauce that can be used on a variety of foods. It is perfect for dipping, drizzling, or spreading. The sauce is also a good source of protein and healthy fats. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy snack or a delicious addition to your next meal, peanut butter maple syrup sauce is a great option.
