My aunt used to make these when I was a little girl. I think they are a nice change from marshmallow treats.

This one seems to really be the dogs favorite! I have also discovered that just rolling into balls and leaving them like that makes things a lot easier for cooking purposes!!!

PEANUT BUTTER KRISPIES
This recipe was handed down from my great-grandmother. I'm not sure when traditional marshmallow krispie treats came on the scene, but this recipe could have preceded it! These are what I grew up on. I do not like marshmallows, so I find this recipe to be perfect. You can also top with melted chocolate if you like. Original recipe calls for 1 cup sugar, but I found it to be too sweet, so I cut it in half. You may wish to add more.

Tips for Making Peanut Butter Krispies for Dogs:

- Choose unsweetened cereal: Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes are good options.
- Make sure the honey is pure: Avoid honey that contains added sugars or other ingredients.
- Do not use butter or oil: These can make the treats too greasy and unhealthy for dogs.
- Store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator: They will last for up to 2 weeks.
